Burke, publishers of Indian Gaming Magazine, are awarded a
specially designed plaque in honor of their outstanding support of the American Indian Art from the Pacific Northwest program.
The cedar plaque, designed & carved by Herb Cook, was presented by Program Director
Roxanne Chinook at a luncheon she hosted with Program Digital Media Producer Curtis DuBois near the magazine offices in
Bellevue, Washington.

each donated artwork for auction at the 2003 New York
City Flame of Hope Gala: A festive tribute to all Native peoples, raising money to provide scholarships to American Indian
students attending the 34 tribal colleges in the United States.
