"a7xhx"(DETAIL)
a7xhx is the Lummi word for crab. One day Sngeqw'e (crane) was tired of eating fish and decided to trick a7xhx into going home with him to be his dinner. Sngeqw'e went to a7xhx and told him he knew of the most beautiful beach. Now a7xhx knew that Sngeqw'e was a very tricky bird, but a7xhx was very wise. When Sngeqw'e told a7xhx to get in his mouth and Sngeqw'e would bring him to the beautiful beach, a7xhx knew that did not sound good and told Sngeqw'e that he might drop him if he climbed into his mouth and that he could hold on to Sngeqw'e with his very strong claws. Sngeqw'e agreed to this and a7xhx clamped his claws on Sngeqw'e's neck. When they reached the beautiful beach Sngeqw'e told a7xhx he was about to become Sngeqw'e's tasty dinner. Upon hearing this turn of events, a7xhx (Ke kwyn no>we) tightened his grip on Sngeqw'e's neck and pinced his head off. a7xhx then lived a very happy life on the beautiful beach over the mountains.
