Art Marketing Program Director Roxanne Chinook invited to participate in panel discussion of "The Indian Arts and Crafts Law" at University of Washington (February 11th, 2003)

Part of the lecture series, Contemporary Issues in Northwest Coast Native American Art, presented by the Burke Museum, the Simpson Center for the Humanities, the UW Canadian Studies Center and the University Book Store, Ms Chinook joined moderator Dr James Nason (Curator of American & Pacific Ethnology and UW Professor of Anthropology), Robert Anderson (Director, Native American Law Center and UW Associate Professor of Law) and Preston Singletary (Tlingit Artist) for a discussion of legal, academic and cultural views on the "Indian-ness" of Indian art.
